Reno (Final Fantasy VII)

Reno, from Final Fantasy VII, is my first serious crossplay and first FF cosplay.

Final Fantasy VII means the world to me. I have worked on this cosplay for nearly two years, from July 2015 to June 2017. The wig is entirely styled by myself, and the electro-mag rod (EMR) is fully done by myself too. This cosplay was a real challenge, as it was my first wig styling and first prop/weapon replica making ever.

I am working in duo with Valkhyon, who is my Rufus Shinra.

Reno is a badass, cold guy working for the Shinra, the world-dominating company. He's in what is called the Turks, an elite force protecting Shinra's president Rufus, and does all the dirty black operations such as kidnappings, assassinations, perhaps torture. Yeah, a cold-blood guy who does everything his boss asks for. Buuut he's also a silly dork who never dresses correctly and likes to drink. In the fandom, it is commonly accepted that he is that kind of guy who will flirt with everyone -including his boss-. That kind of guy who likes sex a lot, accompanied by a glass of whiskey or tequila, but is not interested in love. Also, he's seen as doing his job very well, he really does take it seriously, but he's quite lazy, speaks in a slang and asks not to step on the flowers right after having done the exact opposite...
