Jamie Wrenly (Critical Role)

Jamie Wrenly, sorcier gothique et non-binaire d'une ville paumée, fournisseur et consommateur de substances psychédéliques... Joué par Taliesin Jaffe, immortel roi des goths queer en mon genre, Jamie est un personnage calme mais terriblement iconique, issu du one-shot Cinderbrush du groupe de jeu de rôle Critical Role. Mon mug, designé par moi-même, sert également de clin d'oeil à Caduceus et Mollymauk, personnages de Taliesin dans la deuxième campagne de CR à qui je voue une grande affection.

Beth Wilder (Quantum Break)

Paris, Sept 2020

Beth Wilder est importante à bien plus d'un égard dans le jeu Quantum Break. Je voulais lui rendre hommage, et j'aimerais que ce cosplay soit également un hommage au studio Remedy dans son ensemble et donc à ses autres jeux, Control, Alan Wake, Max Payne.

La photo du pendentif est un hommage à Poets of the Fall, groupe que j'ai découvert grâce à Remedy et qui a depuis une place centrale dans ma vie.

Gwen Cooper (Torchwood - Doctor Who)

 

Gwen Cooper, personnage principal de Torchwood, spin off de Doctor Who, est une femme forte et humaine. Ce cosplay, sans prétentions, s'inscrit dans une démarche de simple hommage à cet univers, à l'équipe de Torchwood, Jack, Ianto, Tosh et Owen.

Lucy Saxon (Doctor Who)

Lucy Saxon est l'épouse d'Harold Saxon, Premier ministre de Grande Bretagne, connu du Docteur comme était Le Maître, son meilleur ennemi. Lucy est un personnage secondaire mais néanmoins crucial, qui a bénéficié d'une discrète mais spectaculaire évolution. 

Ce cosplay est mon tout premier cosplay entièrement cousu à la main.

Rose Tyler (Doctor Who)

Mon tout premier cosplay issu d'une série. ---- My first ever cosplay from a telly series.

Dans Doctor Who, Rose est une femme très jeune mais néanmoins très forte. Elle est le Bad Wolf, la Défenseuse de la Terre. Elle a montré au Docteur ce qu'est l'amour, et il se souviendra d'elle des années durant.

Morticia (The Addams Family)

Morticia Addams est l'icône gothique par excellence, issue d'un film que j'adore depuis de très nombreuses années. Personne indépendante, femme raffinée, mère dévouée, épouse passionnée, pleine d'humour... je l'adore, ni plus ni moins !

Casual Jinx (League of Legends)

Here comes a project I have finished shortly after having announced it, although in reality I have been having this in my head for an entire year.

League of Legends is definetely the video game I have spent the more of time on. I'm a main ADC, and Jinx is one of my most favourite champions!

I am doing a casual version (meaning with everyday clothes and not the official battle outfit). Why? There are several reason. The first being that I don’t have nor the money, nor the time, neither the skills to sew the outfit and craft the weapons. The second, and I guess the main, is that my VERY favourite is Ashe. In my heart, I place her nearly at the same level as Aeris from Final Fantasy VII, meaning very, very high. I REALLY want my first “real” League of Legends cosplay to be Ashe. I can’t do someone else before her.

So, just to clarify, I am not doing a casual version of Jinx by laziness or in order to get likes with the minimum effort. I will definitely do the official version, but not now. I really want to have fun with Jinxie and thus my first League cosplay, but without deceiving myself by placing Jinx before Ashe.
